The Spanish Association of Pool Professionals (ASOFAP) and Piscina & Wellness Exhibition of Barcelona have created the Pool Barometer in Spain, a tool that every year collects considerations from the whole pool sector and measures turnover, mood and trends of products and services.

The first data collected and analysed are from 2017 and they reveal a very favorable mood in the sector, in line with the economic recovery and the positive trend of other European markets: Spanish businesses expect an average increase of 9% in turnover this year. According to the President of ASOFAP, Mr. Pedro Arrebola, “the barometer shows a healthy sector and a return to optimism. The Spanish market is back, it’s homogeneous and, above all, it features a sustainable growth that – as everything seems to suggest – will go on in 2018, which is a confirmation of the end of the crisis”.

The Barometer, once again, is the answer to the Association’s challenge for the greater recognition and added value of the pool sector.
