The 8th edition of the Italian Pool Award, created by Piscine Oggi magazine to celebrate the excellence of Italian pool industry, this year received over 50 applications. According to the pool features, proposed by both top successful companies and local firms, five categories were outlined:
- Residential < 80 sqm surface;
- Residential > 80 sqm surface;
- Indoor Commercial;
- Outdoor Commercial;
- Biopool.
Each pool has been carefully evaluated by every member of the technical jury according to a series of parameters connected to aesthetics and materials as well as technology, environment, accessories etc. The votes designated the 5 winners that – on February 22, 2018 – collected the award on the stage of ForumPiscine: the bronze statuette by Osvaldo Casanova specially made by the ancient Fonderia Merighi Arte of Bologna, the city that every year hosts the exhibition of these wonderful pools.
